BLINDED COLONY: 'Bedtime Prayers' Album Delayed

October 23, 2006

The release date of the sophomore CD from Sweden's BLINDED COLONY, entitled "Bedtime Prayers", has been pushed to January 9. "The primary reason for this delay can be cited as a technical problem in the manufacturing and duplication process," reads a press release. "Both the Pivotal Rockordings label and BLINDED COLONY hope look forward kicking off a new year on a STRONG note."

BLINDED COLONY recently posted their first single, "Once Bitten, Twice Shy", from "Bedtime Prayers" on its MySpace page. The song has received great praise from fans and the band looks forward to unleashing the video for "Once Bitten, Twice Shy", which was directed in December/January by Thomas Tjäder (IN FLAMES).

Pivotal Rockordings will still be hosting a listening party in support of "Bedtime Prayers" on November 14 at Metal Haven in Chicago at 8:00 p.m. CST. Directions and information about the event can be found on the BLINDED COLONY MySpace Page. At the listening party, fans can purchase "Bedtime Prayers" before the release date in January, listen to the album all the way through in the store, and participate in a "meet-and-greet" with one of the owners of Pivotal Rockordings.

BLINDED COLONY plans to hit the road next year for a European tour. Upcoming shows include:

Dec. 14 - Metropolis, Munich Germany (w/ EKTOMORF)
Dec. 15 - Live Factory, Adelsheim (w/ EKTOMORF)
